Project Manager
Local Electronics company seeking a Project Manager who drives execution across projects throughout all phases of the project life cycle.
This role partners closely with development teams, business counterparts, and other key stakeholders to initiate, plan, and manage schedule, scope, project changes, resources, issues, risks, dependencies, and overall project communications, including reporting.
Responsibilities include:
Leads the planning and implementation of projects from creation through market introduction.
Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
Define project tasks and resource requirements.
Develops full scale project schedules, assembles and coordinates project staff, manages project resource allocations.
Tracks project deliverables using Microsoft Project.
Provides direction and support to project team as needed.
Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
Prepares reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions.
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
Works closely with other project managers as part of a team to deliver high-quality software for various project requirements.
Required Skills:
An undergraduate degree is required.
4 - 6 year's of project management experience in software development full lifecycle and implementation area required.
Specific experience in business area a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strength in MS Project (MS Project Server), MS Word, Visio, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Perforce.
Familiarity with object oriented languages including Java, C++.
Desirable but not required:
Project Management Professional (PMP) credential.
Project Management Process :
RUP, PMI, SCRUM, TOC & CCPM and CMMI.
