Summary:
Supports Accounts Payable department in maintaining files, and other administrative duties.
This position reports to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.
Essential Job Duties:
Open and distribute mail.
Maintain and process emails that comes through A/P email.
Answer phones.
Pull Reports and invoice support for distribution.
Photocopying as needed.
Stuff envelopes for check runs and deliver checks to mailroom.
Check vendor statements Maintain paid invoice files for all Pipeline Hospitals in LA Market.
Along with the Accounts Payable Supervisor, serve as a backup support for Accounts Payable Clerks.
Assists the Accounts Payable Supervisor, Controllers and Regional CFO with special projects as needed.
Education/
Experience:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
Must be proficient in use of word processing and spreadsheet applications and hospital information technology systems.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
