$50,000 - $70,000 a year We are looking for an effective Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
Our Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to- day operations of a warehouse.
You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value- adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products.
This may include managing a team of 15 employees, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, implementing health and safety policies, and ensuring that the warehouse operates within budget.
The Warehouse Manager may also be responsible for coordinating with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to ensure that the warehouse is meeting the needs of the organization.
The role requires a combination of leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain management.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Our ideal applicant has warehouse manager experience and forklift certification.
All applicants must be able to pass a drug test.
Duties/Responsibilities Overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse:
This includes supervising the work of employees, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently, and that the warehouse runs smoothly and effectively.
Maintaining accurate records of the goods in the warehouse and ensuring that stock levels are kept up to date.
Implementing health and safety policies Coordinating with other departments, to ensure that the warehouse is meeting the needs of the organization.
Ensuring that the warehouse operates within budget and that any financial issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Responsible for providing training and development opportunities for employees, as well as overseeing the performance of staff and providing feedback and coaching where necessary.
Committed to continuously improving warehouse operations and finding ways to optimize processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
Resolve any problems that arise within the warehouse, such as inventory discrepancies, employee conflicts, or equipment failures.
Other task may be involved depending on the specific needs of the Company.
Requirements and Qualifications Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager of 3 plus years Expertise in warehouse management procedures, Inventory and best practices Leadership skills and ability manage staff.
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
Organizational and multitasking abilities Interpersonal and communication skills Basic math and computer skills Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases Excellent communication skills
