Job Description:
The Foreman is responsible for managing the job and crew onsite.
Foreman will attend pre-con meetings, oversee the daily activities on the job, including the ability to operate the equipment onsite, supervise a crew of 2 -10 workers, conduct safety tailgate meetings, uphold company policies and record job progress on daily paperwork.
The Foreman is responsible for reading blueprints, verifying layouts, checking grade, identifying potential hazards, ensuring quality, production, meeting or exceeding budgets, while maintaining a safe jobsite.
Responsibilities:
Read blueprints, perform layout, check elevations and grade as needed Communicate and coordinate with Field Manager daily Conduct and record Safety Tailgate Meetings Complete daily paperwork Understand OSHA regulations and safety aspects pertaining to each job.
Safely drive company vehicle to and from jobsites (must have a clean driving record) Manage jobsite for the current project by directing team, preparing materials, tools, and equipment Operate and oversee proper use and maintenance of equipment on jobsites Performs continuous safety checks on equipment, attachments, and fleet to ensure equipment is working properly and safely.
Follows job budgets and supervisor's instructions Trains others to assist with signaling and other ground duties Assists with ground duties Comply and uphold all company policies, safety regulations, and code requirements Communicate clearly, respectfully and professionally with management, employees, clients, neighbors, and suppliers.
Ensure jobsites are kept clean and professional.
Record and report vehicle and equipment maintenance issues Position may require overtime and weekend hours MINIMUM SKILLS AND
Qualifications:

years' demolition foreman experience with large scale equipment and selective demo.
Must be able to operate heavy equipment Must be able to check elevations and grade Experience in the geotechnical construction industry is preferred Applicants must have reliable transportation Equivalent of high school diploma or G.
