Job Description Manages communications and relationships between Ducommun and its customers. Communication and tracking of customer scorecards and surveys. Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of their projects. Maintain project schedules, risk analysis, procurement plans, subcontract management plans, project staffing plans, and budgets (direct costs, subcontracts, travel, etc.). Report regularly to the management team and our customer(s). Track all internal and external deliverables, prepare and present formal and informal design and progress reviews. Work closely with members of their own program team, technical peer teams, and related supporting groups to ensure our deliverables meet all requirements and achieve all milestones, while staying within strict budgetary constraints Represents the company in contacts with the customer and outside parties for all issues concerning the assigned program. Creation and maintenance of project Integrated Master Schedule. Facilitating compliance process by completing required Initiating Activities, Design Reviews, and Gate Review requirements. Facilitate internal and customer team meetings/telecons with documentation of minutes and maintenance of Action Item Lists. Creation of monthly Program Review materials for assigned projects Review and creation of material and/or labor plans and cost reports. Resolution and coordination of project cost, schedule, and technical performance issues. Monitor and control of project scope. Escalation of issues or risks that cannot be resolved at the project team level. Maintain high customer satisfaction for assigned projects. Identifying opportunities to grow business content with associated projects and customers. Supporting significant proposals with related PMO inputs. Initiating and scrubbing proposal Bases of Estimates and Schedules. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and MS Project are required. Skills & Qualifications Minimum Qualifications BS in Engineering required; MS in Engineering, MBA, PMP preferred. Minimum of five (5) years' experience in related technically oriented, contract management environment with one (1) years in a project management capacity. Candidates must have familiarity with program planning, earned value management, supply chain, risk management, quality control, production control, and product costing tools. Must demonstrate a keen understanding of basic business operations and the organizational levers (systems, processes, departments, functions) that drive profitable growth. The individual will work without appreciable direction and exercise considerable latitude to determine and develop approaches to solutions. Must possess the ability to lead without authority, negotiate and manage by influence. Strong people and time management skills are required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required; must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and across all organizational levels. Experience in production control, contracts management, project management or contracts management, are key talents. Detail oriented, positive friendly customer service are key attributes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and MS Project are required.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Mechanical Engineering, Program ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
