Production Supervisor Job Description Direct interface with Supply Chain and Production Control to ensure proper inventory and material levels to cover productions needs Schedule and Deliver quality products on-time to meet both internal and external customer requirements Coordinates all manufacturing processes to meet established plant forecast and budget goals and objectives Provide direction on manufacturing process enhancements and establishes acceptable work instruction standards Works hand in hand and acts as a backup to other operation management positions for all day to day activity Coordinates with team members to ensure BAAN and KRONOS are updated and maintained real-time for all personnel Lead and execute, in conjunction with continuous improvement, to reduce cost, improve competiveness relative to cycle times and ensure that there are effective processes throughout Engineered Products Support WIP evaluations, NADCAP certifications, Customer Certification and other Quality, Environmental/Safety requirements. Control and improve operational costs both direct and indirect for programs to meet cost targets for customer business Partner with EH&S to develop, implement and manage Plant Safety requirements Supervises and leads a team of production employees for daily tasks and production requirements. Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of aerospace company specifications and practices Ability to lead / mentor a group of people in a constructive, productive and fair manner Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to drive relentless root cause analysis Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment Six Sigma and / or Lean Certified Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Process Management, Plant & Facilities ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
