Manufacturing Engineer Job Description Ducommun is an industry leader in fabrication of large, complex aircraft skins and leading edges. Manufacturing Engineer needed to support all aspects of manufacturing complete skins including:
Stretch forming Brake forming Hot forming Heat treatment Chemical milling Machining Chemical processing Assist in up-front cost estimating, manufacturing plans and conceptual tool designs. Ability to communicate with shop personnel to assist with proper tool usage and manufacturing procedures. Provide a strong technical interface with customers and vendors. Develop reports, presentations, RCCA's and rework instructions. Team leader to launch new programs and drive process improvements. Define and implement solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency. Working knowledge of CAD, Tool Design and MBD Skills & Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. BS Engineering or Technical Degree Minimum 5 years' experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Industrial Engineering, Mechanical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
